Atlanta International Soccer Fest 2010 is an entirely community run, non-profit initiative. All proceeds from the month’s celebrations will go towards SOS Children’s Villages. Because of this, partners are an absolutely vital part of our existence.

Georgia Soccer is the authorized state youth and adult association for Georgia within the United States Adult Soccer Association, United States Youth Soccer Association, and through them is part of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF).
Come support the USA in their first 2010 World Cup game versus England on June 12th. The game will be broadcast live on a big screen in Cabbagetown Park. Come early for Argentina vs. Nigeria at 10:00 am. Festivities will start before the game and include interactive activities for the kids put on by local soccer associations. Food and beer will be available by local vendors.
Formed in 1995, the Atlanta Ruckus changed its name to the Atlanta Silverbacks in honor of the silverback gorilla Willie B., who was a main attraction of Zoo Atlanta until his death. The team played in the USL First Division until 2008. In November 2009 the Silverbacks announced their intent to leave the USL First Division to become the co-founders of a new North American Soccer League in 2010.
